I am a tenured elementary school teacher at the Cyprus Ministry of Education, with nineteen years of classroom experience in Greece and Cyprus. Alongside my teaching career, I work as a researcher at the University of Cyprus and serve as Special Teaching Staff at Neapolis University Pafos.

My research integrates educational, developmental, cognitive and social psychology, alongside psychopathology and aggression. I focus on the interplay between personal dimensions (cognitive, emotional, and biological), environmental factors (family, peer, teacher, school), and behavioral outcomes (bullying, psychopathological behavior, academic achievement) in youth development. My work is theoretically grounded and employs a versatile methodological toolkit — from longitudinal designs and structural equation modelling to mixed-methods approaches.

I have published 28 peer-reviewed articles in international journals, presented at conferences across the globe, and led research projects funded by the University of Cyprus and the United Nations Development Programme. I serve as a reviewer for several journals in educational and developmental psychology.

What drives me is a simple conviction: every question I bring to the laboratory began in a classroom, and every finding I publish should eventually find its way back to one.
